As kit orders for these models have declined, and as we focus on streamlining operations and bringing new designs into production, we\u2019ve decided to end active kit production for these RV models.<\/p>\n<p style=\"font-weight: 400;\"><strong>What to know:<\/strong><\/p>\n<p style=\"font-weight: 400;\"><strong>The last day to order kits for the RV-3, RV-4, and RV-6 is <span style=\"text-decoration: underline;\">September 30th<\/span>, 2025.<\/strong><\/p>\n<p style=\"font-weight: 400;\">After that date, we will no longer manufacture empennage, fuselage, wing, or finish kits for these aircraft.<\/p>\n<p>To order a new <a href=\"https:\/\/www.vansaircraft.com\/legacyrvs\/\">RV-3<\/a>, <a href=\"https:\/\/www.vansaircraft.com\/legacyrvs\/\">RV-4<\/a>, or <a href=\"https:\/\/www.vansaircraft.com\/legacyrvs\/\">RV-6<\/a> kit \u2014 or to order kit portions you need to finish an ongoing project \u2014 please call 503-678-6545 or email us at <a href=\"mailto:kits@vansaircraft.com\">kits@vansaircraft.com<\/a>.<\/p>\n<p style=\"font-weight: 400;\"><strong>Support continues:\u00a0<\/strong>We will continue offering replacement parts and technical assistance.<\/p>\n<p style=\"font-weight: 400;\">While this chapter is closing, the RV-3, RV-4, and RV-6 remain a lasting part of the Van\u2019s story and a testament to the joy of building and flying an RV.<\/p>\n<p style=\"font-weight: 400;\">-The Van\u2019s Aircraft Team<\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>After decades of offering the RV-3, RV-4, and RV-6 to the builder community, we are preparing to retire these models from active kit production.
